These Anne Frank quotes about life, kindness will help you to restore your hope in humanity.
Annelies Marie Frank famous as Anne Frank was born on 12 June 1929 was a German-Dutch diarist of Jewish heritage. She was one of the most discussed victims of the Holocaust. Anne Frank as a teenager journaled her World War II experiences in a diary that in 1947 published as The Diary of a Young Girl and became one of the most widely read books in the world.
Born in Frankfurt, Germany, she moved to Amsterdam, the Netherlands with her family when Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party took control over Germany. And when in 1940, when Germany invaded the Netherlands, they went into hiding in some concealed rooms behind a bookcase in the building where Anne’s father, Otto Frank, worked in an attempt to escape the persecution of Jews by the Nazis.
For more than two years when they were hiding in the warehouse, Anne kept the diary with herself which she got in her birthday present and wrote in it regularly. She wrote every experience she and her family have gone through and the fear of always being arrested. Anne Frank’s diary shows the understanding of a teenage girl about the war and her storytelling skills even in those difficult situations.
After over two years, in 1944, Franks was arrested and sent to concentration camps. After a few months, Anne was sent to another camp with her sister where she died after a while in February 1945.
Anne Frank died at the age of 15 and her father, Otto Frank was the only person left alive in their family. After the war ended and when he returned to Amsterdam, he found Anne Frank’s diary and published it as The Diary of a Young Girl.
