Bessie Coleman was born on January 26, 1892, was an American pilot. Coleman was the first African-American woman and first Native-American who had her pilot license. On June 15, 1921, she got her pilot license from the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. She was also the first black person to have an international pilot’s license.
