Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was born on 15 October 1844 was a German philosopher, philologist, and cultural critic. He was one of the most influential philosophers in history, and his work has been published in over 100 books. His writings have had a major influence on modern art, culture, and Western philosophy and education.
Nietzsche began his career as a classical philologist and later turned to philosophy. His work left a huge impact on generations of philosophers, psychologists, poets, theologians, playwrights, and novelists.
He became the youngest person ever to hold the Chair of Classical Philology at the University of Basel at the age of 24 but he didn’t own a teaching certificate nor had completed his doctorate. He resigned to that post after 10 years due to the health problems that plagued the rest of his life. He completed most of his writings in the following years.

Nietzsche has gone through many health problems throughout his life and suffered from a complete loss of his mental faculties in 1889 at age of 44. He lived the remaining life in the care of her mother until her death and then in her sister’s care until he died on 25 August 1900.
