Win Butler is accused of sexual assault by 4 people which he claims were "consensual" encounters.
Those 4 people claimed in an interview with Pitchfork shared that Butler assaulted them and used his status to pressure them into sexual situations.
All the alleged victims in which 3 were women and 1 person who identifies as gender-fluid were between the ages 18 to 23 when the sexual advances occured.
One of the victim said in the interview that she attempted suicide after having sex with Butler after a concert in Vancouver in 2017.
On this matter Butler said "I vehemently deny any suggestion that I forced myself on a woman or demanded sexual favors. That simply, and unequivocally, never happened."
He also mentioned that he's struggled with alcoholism, mental health issues and "the ghosts of childhood abuse."
